Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Honey Badger Labs LLC ("Honey Badger Labs," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information in connection with the websites and software it operates, including the internal tools used to manage its portfolio of brands across Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), Pinterest, and other third-party services.

1. Scope

This policy applies to information collected by Honey Badger Labs through hbadgerlabs.com and through Meta-platform integrations (Facebook Login, Pages API, Marketing API) used by Honey Badger Labs to manage its own brand assets. Honey Badger Labs is the data controller of any personal information it processes.

When Honey Badger Labs personnel authenticate Honey Badger Labs–owned Facebook Pages, Instagram Business Accounts, or ad accounts via Meta Login, we receive and store the following information from Meta in order to perform the requested operations:

Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest using symmetric encryption (Fernet / AES-128-CBC with HMAC) keyed by a secret held only by Honey Badger Labs. All operational data is stored in managed PostgreSQL databases on Google Cloud Platform with access restricted to authorized Honey Badger Labs personnel.

6. Retention

Access tokens and account associations are retained for as long as the linked account remains connected. When an account is disconnected, or when Honey Badger Labs receives a verified deletion request (see Data Deletion), tokens and associated metadata are deleted from production systems. Aggregated, de-identified analytics may be retained for historical reporting.

7. Your choices and rights

You can revoke Honey Badger Labs's access to any Meta account at any time from your Meta account's Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Once revoked, the access tokens we hold become invalid and our operations on that account stop immediately.

8. Children

Honey Badger Labs's tools are operated by adult personnel of Honey Badger Labs LLC. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Honey Badger Labs is based in the United States. By using our services, you consent to the transfer and processing of information in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify affected users.
